I have tried to answer you before but it does not seem to be recorded. Seas were shown as moderate on outward journey, but there was little movement. The second evening the North Sea was like a mill pond. There was more movement once everybody had retired to bed when the ship either changed course or increased speed but this was never uncomfortable and we didn't encounter anybody who was suffering from sea sickness. All the cruise lines seem to choose the same time of year to cruise the various oceans and I'm sure this is to avoid bad weather. and stormy seas.

We had our first family cruise to the Norwegian fjords in June 2008. We agree with all the good comments. It was the best holiday we have ever had and can't wait to go back. Everthing was excellent the only thing that would have improved it would be more entertainment for the kids.

I have to agree 100% with this review. My husband and I and our 11 year old son were also on this trip and it was our first ever cruise. I can't praise the ship's crew enough who did everything with a smile and a genuine desire to do a good job. The entertainment was spectacular with evening shows that could rival the West end. Quizzes and other fun activities catered for every age group but on saying that, all age groups took part in all the activities which was fantastic. My son was fully occupied every day but chose not to go to the kidzone where they organised activities for different age groups throughout the day. He preferred to take advantage of the table tennis, basketball, shuffleboard, swimming, indoor bowls, cinema, and I could go on and on. Those travelling with children should rest assured that there is more than enough to keep the most active children happy.
Our cabin was small but spotlessly clean and we were looked after by a wonderful cabin steward who came every day to clean and make beds. To be honest, the size of the cabin was absolutely fine because we only used it to sleep in. I was amazed at the amount of wardrobe space. Our indoor cabin on Deck 1 (closest to the engine room!), could accommodate four people and there was a double wardobe space for each person if required.
The captain did a great job of making sure that passengers were communicated with frequently and briefly. He also took part in an open question and answer session and reeled off some interestings facts about the ship, his experiences at sea, and a glimpse of his own life too. He is obviously a good leader and manages the ship extremely well. I could go on and on but I hope that others considering sailing with the Celebration will read these comments and book a great holiday. We're already thinking about where to go next!
