We have just been on the Christmas cruise of the Red Sea - taking in Jordan, the Sinai Peninsular and Egypt. We found the Ship to be spotless, the crew so helpful and friendly - nothing was too much trouble. The choice of food was really good. We ate buffet breakfast in the Lido restaurant and our evening meal in the Meridan Restaurant. We had a wide choice of food and it was all very appealing.
We had cabin 019 on deck nine and found it spacious, with both bath and shower. Our attendant was very concientious and attentive.
We went to Aqaba for an afternoon - not terribly appealing to us. We also went to the hidden city of Petra - this was a wonderful day (even though it did rain - which we were assured, rarely happens) and we were so pleased we had booked this tour.
We also went to Cairo, the pyramids, the Sphinx and the Cairo Museum to see the Tutankamun Exhibition - this is a must! We thoroughly enjoyed the day, especially as we had to pinch ourselves as we stood in front of the Sphinx on Christmas Day. A real memory!
The entertainment on board was first rate and a real variety, it included Maxie Mann a really good comedian who lifted us all.
We would definitely cruise again after this experience.
