Q:
weve booked a week's cruise for next june aboard the celebration in a deluxe cabin deck 6 or 7. However on studying the deck plans can anyone tell us if other passengers can walk passed outside cabin windows? If we upgrade to deck 8 or 9 deck 8 looks obscured by life boats and can passengers also walk passed deluxe cabin outside windows. Is deck 4 outside double rooms ok, were thinking of asking to be transferred to this lower deck as the windows are flush with the sides of the ship. Any advise much appreciated

We actually prefer deck 6...it is as near to a balcony that you can get on this lovely ship!!! Yes people can walk past outside your window but not right up against it and you do have net curtains. We never had any noise problems at all, and it was lovely to just walk out of the door along the corridor onto deck and not worry if you've forgotten anything as it was only a minute to go back. My only tip would be to go forward rather than aft to avoid any vibration noise which some people complained about.

we were on the celebration in norway, in june on deck 6, with deluxe cabin... people can walk by outside the cabin window, there are deck chairs that people can sit on outside the window..
but we did not hear much noise from it...
the cabin was great and very comfortable.
