We go on a Baltic cruise 31 st August, with Thopmsons - Celebration
I would like to take my laptop... Any information would be appreciated

I have just collected my travel document for a cruise on Celebration and the following might help
"Electricity - Cabins have 110 volts AC, flat two-pin American style sockets and 220 volts AC, round pin European style sockets so please bring appropriate adaptors."
"Internet access - 24 hour internet access is available in the internet lounge. all charges will be added to your onboard account."
I have no idea if the 'lounge' is a lounge or a cupboard!

The internet lounge is located in the library and if memory serves me right has about 8 PCs. You have to pay to log on and its added to your on board account, about £16 for an hour, I think. I noticed though that alot of people went ashore with laptops to access the internet there, so must be cheaper

Sorry to intrude on your thread as I can't answer re: the laptop. However I am desperate to find someone who would be willing to take a photo of Janos and Joszef, the classical duo (who are usually in the Explorers Lounge)for me, as they were playing when I did the Baltic cruise in July this year, and I forgot to take a picture. If you find time or be willing I would really appreciate it. Willing to pay any P&P etc or happy to have anything sent electronically. Don't worry if you're not able to though and I hope you have a wonderful holiday - we did. Have you been on any of the Thomson fleet before?

We did the Baltics last year with RC. Jewel of the seas.. Very America. We have been with Thompson to the Canary Island, and Island cruises - med., and Airtours two ships- Med again Venetian and Grecian - Thompson bought out Airtours. Airtour were just great , Sorry to see them go, Island cruise also very very good. will contact you again hopefully when we get back.

Just got back today, Your duo left the ship a month ago, and will be back in two months time. I did ask a young lady called Emma, she said that she would try and get a photo off her computer, I asked her again a few days later , but she said wat she was really busy !!! I spoke to the cruise director then, he was the one that told me that thet will be back in two months. Sorry, I did my best. You will have a good excuse for another cruise.. Kind regards, Chris
